A large share of the work of Elzinga Cargo Facilities is concentrated in the Eemshaven. We have a great number of fixed cranes set up over there, and since 1999 we have been servicing many clients in the area of bulk transfer, as well as supply and transport. Moreover, we have an office on site so that we can promptly respond to our people and clients in the Eemshaven.
Check out the mapOne of our sustainable electrically driven cranes operates daily in the very centre of Rotterdam, at Brielselaan opposite the MS Rotterdam. So we have our own transfer site there on behalf of a client in the food industry. With respect to sustainability, this crane in Rotterdam is very energy-efficient; what’s more, it exclusively uses biodegradable oil. We find that important, as does our client.
Check out the mapIn Zoeterwoude we have a very silent crane set up for transfer of grain products. The crane is able to work this silently due to noise reduction technology. This client also works in the food industry.
Check out the mapWe are represented in Delfzijl as well. Here we unload ships for all stevedores and make transfers for many clients in the industry. For example, we unload wood chips for Eneco here.
Check out the mapWe have been working with SCS Multiport at the Accraweg in Amsterdam since 2014. Together we unload the large flow of bulk that enters the port via the North Sea canal.
Elzinga Cargo Facilities took over the machines on 1 March and continues unloading bulk material. In combination with the flexibility of the Elzinga Group, the large number of cranes and equipment ensures that this way we can jointly respond to the generation of different cargo flows even better.
